I've been dealing with this problem for 15 years now. I have had 2 surgeries done during that time having the problem return worse than ever. I have lost some feeling in my left foot with the scars protruding and in my right foot the spurs are protruding and growing that I am embarrassed to walk barefoot (my last boyfriend's comments: "Ouch, look at how big that thing is getting!")with my podiatrist telling me he doesn't know why this keeps happening. I am changing to another podiatrist and hope to have this licked.
