i had surgery on june 18, 2001. Surgery lasted about an hour, had a partial release with partial spur removal. I am now 1 week post op, and hoping i did the right thing. i suffered for over a year, all other treatment with no help. i was on my feet 10 hours a day constant walking and lifting. i am on cruthches and non weight bearing cast. It is very uncomfortable trying to move around the house with crutches. I go to the doc's in 2 days to get sticthes out and he wants me to bring my shoe! the thought of putting pressure on my foot scares me.

Date: 06/28/2001 . . . Pain Level: 7 . . . Activity Level: 2 . . . Satisfaction with surgery:
June 28th
Well, I had my stitches out yesterday, although I'm not sure they should have come out yet. I still have some bleeding and so I put steri strips on it. It was very painful when I tried to put weight on it. Ouch! So, I use my crutches and a tennis shoe or the cam walker. The bottom of my heel is still somewhat numb. It is painful, but I know it is going to take time. I will keep you informed.
