So far I've had only a little bit of stinging/burning feelings but also have alot of swelling. I've been taking the pain meds as I was told to. Resting, icing, and keeping my foot elevated.

2 days ago I went back to see the doctor for my 1st check up after surgery. Everything so far looked good. He removed the bandages and told me I can not get my foot wet but not to soak it. I am to use the surgerical boot to walk in for the next two weeks. My next appointment to see the doctor is in 2 weeks, then he will remove the stiches and I am to start walking in a soft sneaker. So far I haven't had much pain at all. Mostly I have a bit of burning.

Went back to the doctor yesterday and he removed the stitches. He told me to start wearing my sneakers and to switch off and on with the surgical boot. So far I've had some sorness in the arch of my foot but other then that for now it has been ok. I see the POD in 2 more weeks.
