i forgot to enter a comment i am post surgery 1 week today, i went to the dr. and he undressed my foot and i have about a 3 inch incision. i am doing ok very immobile, staying in the bed and watching a lot of tv. i will keep you updated on my progress.

i am 2 weeks post op and doing well, got my stitches out wed. and advanced from crutches to a walker bearing a little weight on my foot. i am still fairly immobile but can do some things for myself, i know my family is glad of that :) i seem to have more pain since the stitches came out then before but that may be due to putting weight on my foot i am down to taking only 1/2 pain pill when needed usually everyother day. i am really amazed that the pain is so mild. my son said i look like i have a zipper on my foot, it does look frightful, but hopefully it will heal nicely. i get to go on an outing today, yeah!!!!! i am so excited,(grocery store)
