I had fascia release, and tarsal tunnel release on my left foot on March 29,2002. I have no to little pain right now,but that is non weight bearing. I had surgery on my right foot (same thing) in december, and i am completely satisfied with the results, and only hope my left foot does as well.

Date: 04/27/2002 . . . Pain Level: 2 . . . Activity Level: 4 . . . Satisfaction with surgery: 10
I went to the doctor on April 22, and the Doctor had to remove 6 of the dissolving stitches, which decided to surface, instead of dissolve. This has happened to me when i had my other foot surgery, and knee surgery. My foot feels pretty good, and the infection in my foot is finally clearing up. I have some pain in my right foot, which i had the same surgery on in December 2001. The doc says when I start physical therapy, I will have it done on both feet. I just can't wait to go back to the gym 6 days a week, and lose the 30lbs I've gained since september

Date: 07/13/2002 . . . Pain Level: 8 . . . Activity Level: 2 . . . Satisfaction with surgery: 10
I have gone to the doctors about4 times since my last post. I started physical therapy on both feet on May 6th. I am now 3 1/2 months post-op on my left foot, and i am still having severe pains. i will be going back to the doctor on Monday,July 13th. it really stinks that my left foot is taking so much longer. My podiatrist said i had a lot of damage internally to my left foot. I had damage to the muscles that run up to the back of the foot. I think physical therapy is helping, though. The pain in my right foot is about 2 out of 10

Date: 07/16/2002 . . . Pain Level: 7 . . . Activity Level: 4 . . . Satisfaction with surgery: 10
I went to the doctor on 7/15. I got a cortizone in my incision. I still have no feeling in my baby toe. The doc said the nerve damage in my toes was almost unrepairable. I am going to continue therapy for 4 more weeks. I see the doc on August 12th

Date: 07/27/2002 . . . Pain Level: 7 . . . Activity Level: 4 . . . Satisfaction with surgery: 10

Date: 08/17/2002 . . . Pain Level: 6 . . . Activity Level: 8 . . . Satisfaction with surgery: 10
I went to the podiatrist on 8/12/02, and he read the report from the physical therapist. My range of motion has improved, but my pain level should be less. I can only walk for about 15 minutes, then both my feet start killing. He told me it's going to take a year for the feet to completely heal. I am begining to doubt if my left foot was a success or not? He has given me 4 more weeks of therapy on my left foot, and then he says we'll see where we are going to go from there.

Date: 04/23/2003 . . . Pain Level: 5 . . . Activity Level: 5 . . . Satisfaction with surgery: 3

MY SURGERY WAS MARCH 29,2002 I am now 1 year and almost 2 months post op,and i am in more pain now than i was before the surgery.
I regret having it done, and wish i could take it back. i only am pain free for the first 15 minutes of each day. After that,i have pain that is unbearable
