I wasn't in extreme pain right before surgery because of the last cortizone injection I had. So far so good. I haven't had the bandages off yet so I don't know what my incision looks like but the pain has been minimal -- of course I'm non-weight bearing right now.

Had my cast and stitches removed on May 7th. I am now walking without crutches and in regular shoes!!!!! I have very little swelling and bruising. The pain is minimal when walking, non-existent when sitting/lying. I am very optimistic that I will recover 100%. I am going to physical therapy twice a week for two weeks (stretching exercises, stimulation, ice, massage) and then go back to the doctor in two weeks.
