3 1/2 weeks post surgery-
Suture line was slow to heal and became infected several days after sutures were removed (2 weeks after surgery). I was put on Keflex and am now healing well. I remain in more pain since before the surgery and I am having a difficult time walking or standing for any length of time. My new running sneakers have provided me with the most comfort when I'm on my feet. I'm a little discouraged since the doctor told me that I should know if the surgery was successful by 6 weeks post-op. I am taking 1 Vicodan tablet daily when I need to be on my feet for awhile.
