It's been 4-1/2 days since I had open pf release, the spur removed as well as tts release. My doctor found 3 varicose veins in the tarsal tunnel as well as a nerve entrapped in my heel spur. My pain level is low and has been for the most part since the surgery. I expect this to go up once I start to do things for a while. So far I'm just laying down with my foot elevated, pretty much 24/7. I have had minimal swelling.
I go in for a checkup tomorrow. So far so good. Just like to add that the majority of those who have this surgery do not come back to post because they get on with life. That's good. So many of the post made here might just be those who have been less fortunate. I don't believe this is the majority however. So if you thinking about this surgery keep this in mind. We don't hear from many of them.
