It's been about 6 weeks since I had arthroscopic plantar fasciotomy in both feet. The Doc says I should be feeling better but I have just about constant nagging pain in my arches and pain along the back edge of the heel. My right foot, which was worse to begin with,is worse than the left- if I press on the incision site I get this bad pain like A TOOTHACHE. Sometimes I feel the pain from my heel run up the back of my leg to under my knee. The Doc gave me a couple of more cotisone shots to "knock-out" the pain. I felt better for about a week but now my feet are burning again. I don't know how I can go back to work yet because at my job I am constantly on my feet. Has anyone out there collected disability for more than 6 weeks? Has anyone had this slow recovery?
