Hello out thier well i,ve been in pain for 3 yrs.i,ve had over 10 cortizone shots 5 different pairs of orthics 5 different foot doctors strecthing iceing soking .You know its kind of scary because i got different opinion from thies 5 doctors i had one doctor say one foot was longer than the other so he mad 1 orthic bigger than the other 1 wk and myn back went out another doctor said my big toe was week sohe built up my orthics in the front and i had unbearable pain in the side of my ankles,another doctor said my heal bone was crocked I really wonder how in gods green earth do thies people call theself doctors. Well after all this insanity i had open p.f.realease 3 wk.ago im back in my tennies taking it slow i felt under my ft and i could barly feel my fascia compaired to my other footwhich feels like a rope every day the pain is less but its still sore for now ill just take it slow and i know it will keep improving

well every day its getting better and better its just taking longer than i thought all the research i done say 6wks min at 4 wks im pretty much on track long as every wk the pain level goes down 1 and activetys goes up 1

im learning patients its been 31 days i was trying to push it a little and work up yesterday with a buring in the area of surgery i was scared the doc screwed up and cut a nerve so i called him even on this holiday. he said i would know if it was a nerve we talked for 10 minutes he said its sound like i need to rest the foot it sound like surgery area is sore and to take anti imflamatorys celabrex for 3 wks well i work up this morring and first few step foor was sore then 0 pain so now i try to massage and ice and light strecthing of the calf which was a little tight before surgery massaging the planter i know will help blood flow I had planter facittis for 3 yrs so i will have some left over scare tissel damage Now i read the hole message board on open PF surgery and most of the people who had open PF surgery and were not pleased had other foot problems also for me the key will have to be patients if you read this and would to talk please feel free raymond

well its day 37 woke up with a slight pain under surgery area its been a very slow recovery i guess it takes a little longer when your 44, inch by inch its getting better today is mon sat.and sun. i walked a hour that was all i can do my foot was very sore i have to keep the faith when i walk it feels like i have a tennis ball under my foot i keep massing my foot so to get the circulation going i have a sligh tingaling on the inside of my foot but i heard that commen with this surgery i see the doc thur.ill let you know what happens

good night people i prayed this morring and asked god for strengh and faith and this was my best day yet and god gave me a couple of pain free minute of zero pain wile on my feet (read between the lines)

good morring people well it pays to get involed with your recovery im 6 weeks into my recovery im doing better. when i tap on the surgery incision area i feel a slight stabing pain that goes right into the cut planter i went to another doctors he said it was a intraped nerve caused by scare tissue and the swelling i still have. he said to massage it to breck up the scare tissue and ice he said the nerve thing is common in this type of surgery if massage dosent work they will give me a cortizone shot to breck up scare tissue

foot is getting better i found out that when ever you have planter release surgery that nerves are going to get cut thair are many spider vein and nerves that are going to get cut no matter what now thier a big nerve that starts at your leg and wraps around the back of the ball on tour ankle and goes into your foot new if that nerve is damage when you hit it the pain will shoot up your leg and threw your foot your really know now before i got a shot to breck up scare tissue i went walking a little over two miles with very little pain yesterday before that only half hour walks it really helps to losen op stiffness NOT BAD FOR 2 MONTHS I WAS DRIVING MYSELF CRAZY BEFORE I THOUGHT the surgery was totally bad but its wasent im staying off this computer for 2 weeks
