I had surgery August 26th. It was awesome after surgery. I was very pleased. But the last 2 mths I have went down hill all over again like I never had the surgery almost. I am hardly walking after working 3 days a week...only about..depends how bad I am I go from 5 hrs to 20 hrs. When Im not working I stay in bed mostly cause of the pain I have started getting. I do stretch foot out and do the excerises that I was taught thu 1st and 2nd time going thru PT. I have had 3 shots again since surgery and PT was useless. Didn't help and hardly does the shots. the shots work about a day and thats it.
I am 29 yrs old and this is horrible. I can't do much with my kids or hubby at all. I am very depressed. I have gained like 30lbs since surgery. Now I am looking at another surgery on Dec. 5th. Cutting the whole plantar Fasia. And after reading on this board I am so scared. I have also developed Tarpel Tunnel from the 1st surgery and may be looking at surgery for that too. My Left foot is starting to go down hill but nothing still like my right foot. I am on neurontin 500mg and ultrams. The ultrams helps with the PF and neurontin helps with the tarpel Tunnel. I have a night splint that I use. I have shoes they are asics Gel. I also have inserts. My insurance wont pay for orthodics so thats why I opted for another surgery. Am I doing the right thing? I am so scared I am going to make a mistake and be alot worst off. But at the same time. I want this to all end and get back to my life and losing weight. Can they not just amputate my foot and give me a fake one? Thats how bad I want this to be done and over with. I do have a bump under one of my scars that hurts so bad too. Dr says its scared tissue from surgery. That I need to take cortizone shit in that area to break it up. Does anyone know how bad these shots are? ugh they are so painful! I hate to take 2 shots in same foot in differnt areas.
