I have now been to 4 Dr's. Today was #4. The first two were Pod's, second Sports Med. Dr., 4th Foot and Ankle Specialist. #2 did the surgery, #3 sent me to #4. He said NEVER HAVE EPF done. I told him I no longer have an arch support and have constant pain, and he said I never will have an arch support again. That holds up the arch, which means that I walk on the outside of my foot and all kinds of complications can arise from this surgery, i.e. scar tissue, no support, broken bones and the list goes on. Maybe some people don't have that problem, but I'll bet lots more do than you know about. His big thing is stretch all day long and wear orthotics. I should have gone there first. Nice knowing that I will forever be miserable because one Dr. forgot to tell me that I would no longer have any support, and that there are tons of complications.
