I had surgery for total release on my right foot in March 2001. I have extremely high arches. I was in a great deal of pain following the surgery for about two weeks. It gradually decreased. Now my right foot hurts after being on it for a long time but nothing like before. It is 90% better. I am having pain in my left foot now. Surgery on it will be within th next few months, as soon as I can work it into my schedule. Life is to short for such intense pain when it can be fixed.
