Surgery was pain and stress free. Got put out woke up giggling. The doctor talked with my husband after surgery,I wish he would have talked to me though. I just thought he was going to do an endoscopic planter faciatomy(sp) but my husband said he removed the spur and some cartlige too.I have talked to two other people that have had this surgery done and they left the spur. Im curious as to why he took mine off, not that i care i am just curious. I have much confidence in my doctor.I cant wait until im allowed to walk on it again.
Date: 09/29/2000 . . . Pain Level: 3 . . . Activity Level: 8 . . . Satisfaction with surgery: 7
The heeling process has been slower than i thought it would. For the first 5 weeks i had wished i hadnt had the surgery done. My foot hurt all the time( while walking or standing i mean) It seemed i would progress 2 and go back 1 and a half. But finally i can say it does feel better and i think it will keep getting better. I know i have to wear my shoe inserts or im in pain by night fall.Maybe thay is why it is feeling better because i am wearing my inserts faithfully.
