Since my surgery in September of 2000, I had a year of going to the doctor and we finally figured out the problem and I was officially released from his care in November of 2001. After my surgery I had ankle instability, and through the wonders of video gait analysis, my problem was solved. My fourth pair of orthotics were made and adjustments added, my feet are finally happy.
I will never be able to go barefoot for long periods,( I shouldn't go barefoot at all) without pain but for the most part I am able to walk and WORK pain free. If asked if I would do it again I'd have to say probably not. It would depend on how bad I hated the cortisone shots. I wish everyone well and hope everyone soon gets happy feet.
