In search of inflatable shoes

Background: Have had PF for over a year. Ultrasound, acupuncture, stretching, icing, heel pads, massage, rolling pin haven't done much of anything. And Birkenstocks gave me all sorts of different foot problems. My greatest success was when I was sick for a couple of weeks and stayed off my feet the whole time, which took me from every-step-hurts to able-to-stand-for-10-minutes-without-too-much-pain, but now that I'm able to get around a little after months of inactivity I can't just stay off my feet that long again. For some reason running is more comfortable than walking and even can make my feet feel better. It's in both feet, and it's not worse in the morning.

Anyway, if I stand on something soft, like a mattress, my feet feel better. And I've always thought that if I could just get plastic inflatable shoes it would make walking around the apartment much more comfortable. But I don't know if such things exist, and while I could try taping a couple of bath pillows to my feet I think that would be less than ideal.

Any ideas?
