I've spent quite a bit lately on different brands of insoles, some from the podiatrist at $32 to Dr. Scholl's for $6. The best I've found are Spenco Polysorb replacement insoles. They come in Cross
Trainers and also in Dress Shoe styles. The Cross Trainers ran about
$18. They're twice as thick as what the dr. sold me. Also, I'm
trying a pair of SAS walking shoes. The dealer told me to keep them on all the time (no other shoes) until the pain subsides. I'll check
back to let you know how they are. He was not very supportive of
Berkinstocks.
