DRUGS!!!

Has anyone taken Arthrotec before. Recently I have noticed a lot of nausau and I figure it is becasue I take so much ibuprofen (lately 4-16 a day depending on pain) I have tried to start taking Aleve but the pain, well I don't like any of it. I talked to both my Physican and Orthop surg and I was switched to Arthrotec. It is for people was Arthritis and joint pain who get ulcers. So far it hasn't helped the pain but hasn't made my tired either. Even Tylenol makes me tired. Aleve doesn't. MOtrin (rx) 800 makes me really sleepy. Anyway, I am doing the highly recommentded Glusa??? Sulfate something (3 times a day) and it hasn't help but I am going to finish the bottle just to say I tried. This is probably something like Acid a Cal which several "herb people" told me to try. They swore by it. I don't have months for something to kick in. I just am not that patient. So, today was my first day to take the Arthrotec and I must take one a day the first week then two a day thereafter.
I have had several of the day by day anti-inflam prescribed but didn't noticably help so I am not going to waste my money of Rx's.
While I am on this new med, I can't take any other meds. I wonder how long I will last. The only other drug I take (mabey one to two a month only when the pain is so bad and I have no obligations the next day) is Mepregan. It is for after surgery pain that I was given and it really knocks you out. I want to take it so much at night but I know I couldn't function the next day. So I don't take it.
Also I agree rest is the best med but if I can only "rest" so much. It is depressing sitting all day, then going home and sitting and then the weekend fun time comes to have time to go to dinner, the mall and the movies but you end up paying a price on Sunday afternoon. I am not talking about walking all over the mall either. Just getting in and out of the car and walking where you need to go then sitting down is a Pain! Enough of my story. Plan to get Birk's(Tatami's) with money I don't have. But praise the Lord, hopefully I won't have much more to deal with and thank God I can even work. I know many of you can't even do that whether standing or sitting.
