I bought a pair of birks this week and started wearing them for 10 min at a time for 2 days, I experienced no pain while wearing them but after I had increased calf tightness and heal pain, I went back to my sneakers with the orthotics and on day #2 the pain and tightness were even worse after just 10-15 min wearing the birk. I am extremely dissapointed that I am going to be one of the exceptions and not be able to tolerate the birks. If anyone has any ideas It would be great, otherwise its sneaker for life I guess.
