First of all, please read the message board. Though it seems overwhelming you will find so much information here. Much more than you will find out by going to the doctor. General consensus is that surgery doesn't help. It is looking like the Ossatron will be our new hope(depending on when and if I get better-Becky). Also Birkenstocks are the shoe of choice. Rest and ice seem to be a helpful pain rememdy. Many of us lived active lives before we got PF and are struggling just to go to the grocery store. We are so happy that you joined us and please ask questions, give your opinion and we want this to be an useful tool for you in dealing with this horrid thing that we wouldn't wish on our worst enemy. So, though overwhelming, please at least glance through the message board. We have one last suggestion. As you are scanning the message board, ice your foot.
