I think I know how you feel. I've had PF for about 3 years now. I was going to a doctor, but got the feeling I was throwing my money away. I airconditioning mechanic for the local school district, so am on my feet a lot, plus climbing up and down ladders. I bought 3 pairs of Red Wing work boots to see if they would help. and even ordered a pair of inserts from a company called Featherspring. So far nothing has helped for long at all. I am considering going back to the doctor, but maybe trying a different one. What brand of sneakers to you find gives you the most comfort?
