Pain from Compensating?

Has anyone had experience with pain in the opposite foot from the one with PF? Right now, I'm experiencing sharp pain in my forefoot on the foot opposite the one with PF. Also, much tightness in my Achilles tendon on the foot opposite the one with PF. I think it might be from biomechanical compensation for the PF. Anyone have any experience with this type of thing?
