Well, my boots are really a stiff high top tennis shoe. They are called horse shoes made by roper. (wearing birks in pubilic for me is just not possible :~) cowboys look funny wearing sandals. :~) They give me a bad time about the horse shoes and they are made by roper!
I sometimes wear my cowboy boots out dancing. They feel really nice as they were resoled just a couple of years ago and the leather conforms to my arch really nice. Still, when dancing, I sit as much as possible. Dance one song and then sit, wait a couple of songs and then dance again. My wife is very supportive and hangs in there with me even tho she would rather be dancing :~) She's an incredible lady. She says she's thankful she doesnt have PF.
What do you mean by suspended stretch?
They fitted the birks in the store. It's the only store that carries them for over 150 miles so my selection is quite limited up here in Montana. :~(
Would like birks for in the house, my wife says I cant wear my shoes on her white wool berber carpet anymore or she'll cut my feet off :~)
I liked the lowered heel also, made the heel pain go away. Maybe I'll buy some for in the house and hid them when friends come over :~)
Sure are proud of them at 90 bucks!
