Re: feeling hopeless

Weight wasn't an issue in my case, I had PF at 120 pounds and I have it now at more than that, PF does make it almost impossible to lose weight for me as I cannot walk or bicycle (just can't find a way to pedal that doesn't make my feet scream after a few minutes. I went to the UK last year and I used a fold-up chair cane, so when I was in a queue stand, walk, stand, I would unfold it and sit. Yes I felt dorky and old and decrepit and I'm only in my 30's but I did what I had to do to make the trip. We all have to decide what we're willing to give up and what we're willing to put up with not to have to give up other things. I also find this board really helps, you can express yourself freely here and people don't tell you to get over it or stop whining or "cheer up". It helps not to be alone, but I sure would be happy if this board became obsolete because no one had to suffer with PF anymore. Keep us informed of how you're doing, we care.
