Two weeks on Dr.Scholls DynaStep inserts

And my left foot is feeling pretty good now. I started using these inserts with my ultra-stiff hiking shoes, (and ultra-heavy). The inserts seemed to relieve the intense buring and soreness for the first week. Then I switched to a pair of Brooks Gel running shoes with the same inserts and I was dying. The Brooks were too soft and cushy and the inserts were not helping. Finally I put the inserts into my Saucony Grid Dual running shoes and.... yes, I found quite a bit of relief.

Now for the long term solution. For me, I plan on cycling, (cycling causes no pain at all), loosing that extra 18 lbs that I put on in the last two years and perhaps some calf lifts with weights.

Anyway, the DynaStep inserts with my Saucony Grid Duals have given me 85% relief for now.
