Question about board stretching

I recently had made a 12x12x1 board as Scott recommended and use it with the brick. Can go about 5 inches, but notice that on the leg with the heelspur, that the muscle seems to be not quite as stretched as the one on the leg without the spur. Is this normal, or should I feel the stretch equally on both calves? Thanks.
