Re: it's a spur, dammit-Scot-right on and...Dr.'s give less than 2 minutes sometimes!

Scott - 2 minutes is right! I tried to go the orthopedic route with my recent rotator injury. What a joke. After the 2 min. in his office he sent me for physical therapy with a scribbled note that gave no instructions - only the words "torn rotator/tendonitis" on the sheet. The PT then proceeded to crank on my arm to the point of my almost throwing up and fainting with the pain. Upon calling the doctor to ask about advisability of anymore PT and to discuss getting the MRI he casually mentioned - I waited 3 days and he still did not call me back. His nurse said "he's been really busy and that my file was still on his desk with the notes to call me". Well it's been over 2 weeks since that call and he still has not returned my phone call. Needless to say, I will not be going back to him and instead went the chiropractic route - with great success - really doing well with only 2 weeks of (5 total) treatments! I am done for now and go back in one month for a follow.
