I am hurting as we speak, I would ice but the water is freezing, I am so thrilled to know to get the coke bottle and fill it up with water and do my icing that way (even though it is a pain). YOu guys have been so awesome for me. To know there are 100's of you out there who feel the same way I do and it is so great (not great for you) but it helps me cope!
Am waiting for the Ossatron to come around again in January. I get to get it done whether I got the placebo or the real thing (and it was a failure). I am encouraged from what I hear from people (in America only). Now, I have had two job opps where I work, had to turn down one becasue of the time I would be on my feet. I know have an opp to work a job where I can really sit all day (except lunch and the b-room and to and from my car). I wouldn't have to do faxes or mail letters or any of that. Also I wouldn't have to go up and down stairs like I do now (4 times a day-total). I am trying the Gljldfjd Sulfate 1500 mg and don't find much relief. I will continue to take it till the bottle is empty. Just to let you know I tried. I have never worn a night splint, had accupunture or had my feet taped. I tried to wear the Strassburg sock but it just stretched out of shape and I couldn't fall asleep with it on. I tried a homemade splint but it was also uncomfortable. I don't think that would help becasue even though I might be pain free a bit in the morning I would be yucky becasue I hadn't gone to sleep. . The only drawback on the GSulfate is that if I don't eat something substantial before I take a pill I get very nauseous. So there I must eat when I take a pill and for that and other reasons I have gained 10 pounds which doesn't help the pain. Losing 10 pounds doesn't help, but it is better than gaining. Forgive my boring story, but this is the only way I can cope. I have read almost all the posts (2399) since August but am still not finished. I wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy and am just trying to make it till January. The job I am trying for requires me to wear nicer shoes. Even though I am behind a desk (where I will be allowed to wear no shoes if I want) going to and from my car and to and from lunch I must have nicer shoes. They mentioned Birks. They are so hard so I wear suppperrrr cushiony socks with them but my running NB shoes (990) are better. Personally I am holding out on the pillow shoes I hope someone will make one day. I have some Milano's (Arizona's with backs) but am hoping to get some nebraska's or kentucky's (the new Tatami kind) which look a little more tailored. I always spend at least 100 bucks on shoes every two to three months so I guess December's shoes will be those. I really want the job. I have gotten appoval to wear running shoes after my ossatron for two weeks. If you read this novel, thanks!!!! I am praying for us everyday. The only way I make it is by prayer and knowing that I am going to make it through this with the Lord's help. It is going on four years and the pain... I don't remember what it is like to be pain free (a few times the day after cortizone shots but that is it). I could go on and on, thanks for letting me complain, even if no one reads this, at least I am able to vent my pain. Thanks again
