Acupuncture Update

Have had 5 acu treatments, starting Dec. 8, with another scheduled for 12/31. Had 40% pain reduction after the first, but had a new pain surface after the second. At the 3rd treatment, acupuncturist completely elminated the new pain, but had no change in heel pain. Fourth treatment produced almost no change in heel pain. After the 5th treatment, I was up to 75% pain reduction, so, of course, I overdid it (on my feet 2-3 hours at a time) and am having a "relapse" now. Hope he can take care of increased pain at next session. Acu. is not for wimps: some needles inserted in my heel felt pretty much like those good old cortisone shots! Here's hoping I continue to make progress, but who knows?
